Your movement.
Your data.
Stride is an iPhone step and workout tracker. Health and motion information is processed on your iPhone. Stride does not send that information to this website or to a developer-operated backend.
Apple Health and motion access
With your permission, Stride reads steps, walking/running distance, flights climbed, active energy, and workouts from Apple Health. iPhone motion sensors provide live steps, estimated workout distance, and stationary detection. Completed Stride workouts save automatically to Apple Health when workout write access is granted. Stride does not record GPS routes, heart rate, or its own calorie estimates.
Local storage and recovery
Stride keeps local Health-history caches and workout summaries, including an ongoing workout and completed workouts awaiting a successful Health save. These files are protected by iOS and excluded from device backups. Settings such as your daily goal are stored separately. Apple Health manages its own storage, sync, and backup through your Apple settings. Stride does not independently upload health information to iCloud.
Data sharing and tracking
The Stride app has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or health-data upload service. It does not sell health data, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing. Lock Screen and Dynamic Island Live Activities may show workout duration, estimated distance, and steps. You can disable them in iPhone Settings.
Your choices and deletion
Change Health permissions in the Health app and Motion & Fitness access in iPhone Settings. Denying access limits the corresponding features. Delete Stride to remove its local files. Workouts saved to Apple Health remain there until you delete them in Health. Stride imports up to one year of available Health history; local workout summaries remain until you remove the app.
TestFlight
During the beta, Apple may provide crash reports and feedback you choose to send under Apple's TestFlight terms. Feedback can include attachments or screenshots you supply. Review these before sending health information.
This website
This site provides app information, this policy, and support guidance. It has no login, forms, cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics scripts. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes ordinary connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, to deliver and secure it. Operational logs and traces may be retained for diagnosing website issues. Website requests do not provide access to Apple Health or your Stride workout records.
